The Role

​

We are seeking a Full-time Painter to join the team. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paints, varnishes, and other protective coatings to various equipment. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Activities (but not limited to):

• Prepare panels for painting with hand and power sanders.

• Mask areas that are not to be painted with tape and paper.

• Select premixed paint, or mix paints using a base and tint to match the paint.

• Colour matching and mixing paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint.

• Applying primer and finishing coats using spray guns, and sanding surfaces between coats.

• Touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles.

Location and Amenities

We are located in the easily accessible suburb of Minto which is a 20-minute walk from the nearest train station. Our site is only 3 minutes away off the Hume Highway.
